Ledger stone and surrounding railings. Circa 1856. Freestone ledger stone,
cast iron railings. Plain rectangular ledger stone on a plinth surrounded by
unusual railings consisting of panels of diagonally-fixed slender iron rods
forming a diamond-patterned grid. The panels are fixed to square section
corner standards with bud finials. One of the panels leaning against the
monument at time of survey (1988) but could be repaired. Inscription
commemorates Caroline Storr, died 1856.
