The concave east elevation of the Town Hall viewed from the northern end of Watford High Street on July 24, 2024. The distinctive clock tower could be seen from the South Oxhey Playing Fields by this contributor over 70 years ago. The road lay out has been considerably altered since 1972 with the construction of pedestrian under-passes, but the impressive Town Hall remains a distinctive landmark in the local townscape.
