SY 89 NE BERE REGIS

2/54 Robinswood Farm House

II

Detached house. Probably early C17. Brick walls; roof part thatched, part
tiled, with corbelled gables. Central brick stack. Thatched section of one
storey and attic, tiled section 2-storeyed. C20 glazed thatched porch at
end of thatched section. Ground floor has one casement window and one
double-hung sash window, both with glazing bars. First floor has 2 case-
ment windows with centre glazing bars. Entrance in end gable wall.
Internally, one ground floor room has large open fireplace with bread oven
and renewed timber lintol. Fireplace backing on to this has C18 moulded
timber surround. Roof trusses have moulded principal rafters.
