Farmhouse. Early/mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings;
Stonesfield-slate roofs with ashlar-and-brick stacks. L plan. 2 storeys plus
attic. 3 bays to left of 5-window front break forward in a symmetrical
arrangement of tall windows with renewed cross casements and a central doorway,
all with ashlar flat arches. Steep-pitched roof has 3 gabled roof dormers and is
flanked by stacks. 2-window section to right has shorter casements and a second
doorway, now altered to a window, and has a larger roof dormer. Left gable wall
has a chimney projection. Rear has further tall windows, a central C20 porch,
and a lower wing which returns from the right. Interior not inspected.
