Forge and house, now a house. Probably late C18. Painted roughcast, slate roof in 4 distinct sections, section to
left with a gabled frontage, ridge at right angles to facade, coped verges, finial to left. Tudor-gothick. Two
storeys, 1:2:4 bays, 2 and 3-light chamfered stone aullioned windows, each with diamond-paned cast-iron lights, stopped
labels. Single bay to left with a broad pointed arch door opening, dripaould, C20 plank doors; narrow pointed arch
door opening to right, dripaould, ribbed and studded door. Left return with two 2-light gothick traceried pointed arch
windows. Forecourt with plain wrought iron railings.
