Lodge to the Manor House (qv). Mid/late C19 for JH Stephenson. Random rubble, plain tile and fishtail tile roof in a
diaper patten, crested ridge, pierced and cusped bargeboards, paired hexagonal stacks with stone caps. Tudor-gothic,
single storey, 1:1 bays, to left a 2-light stone aullioned window under a gablet, each light with a foiled head, leaded
lights, stopped label; right bay under a gable, 3-light canted bay window with stone dividing mullion;, leaded lights,
hipped stone root; above a blank quatrefoil incorporating a shield, Door opening to left return, plank door, elaborate
dressed stone porch. Pair of rubble and dressed stone gate piers to road, corner pilasters, cross gabled caps; section
of curved rubble wall to each side, dressed stone capping; at the end of each a further low pier, that to right
cross-gabled, that to left rebuilt with a plain cement capping.
