Pair of cottages. C17, rebuilt C19. Formerly timber-framed, now
English bond brick and rubble stone with tiled roof with bands of
fishscale tiles and gable end brick stacks, ceramic ridge cresting.
Two-storey, 3-window. Two planked doors with gabled canopies,
three 3-light casements to ground floor. First floor has 3-light
and two 2-light casements. Right return has blocked openings,
raised roofline. Left return with lean-to extension. Two-storey
rear extension.
Interior of No 17 has chamfered beams, timber-framed partitions.
Two right hand bays in stone are rebuild of C17 cottage, left hand
bay added in brick.
