Former Baptist Chapel now school chapel. 1827. Altered and extended in C20.
Stone rubble with brick dressings. Asbestos slate roof hipped at east end, gable
end to front west end. Small brick stack at gable end of wing to right.
Chapel rectangular on plan with C19 wing to front right and C20 extension wing to
left, forming overall T-shaped plan.
Single storey. 2 semi-circular arched windows at each end with 1827 datestone and
blind roundel over, above gabled slate roof to stone porch with rounded brick arch
to doorway and 4-panelled inner door. Single opposing round-arched window with
12-paned fixed light to each side. C19 wing to right has 2 cambered arched windows
with C19 2-light casements, 8 panes per light, flanking blocked doorway also with
cambered arch. C20 interior fittings.
