NEWTON TRACEY Barn approximately 30 metres east

4/8 listed under the parish of Fremington)

GV II

Barn, late C18 or early C19. Stone rubble and cob. Corrugated iron roof with
gable ends. Rectangular on plan with 2 shippon outshuts to courtyard side. Single
end. Shippon outshuts to courtyard side of stone rubble, that to left has slate
roof, splayed corner at lower end, that to right has corrugated iron roof. The
barn has 6 roughly hewn trusses with side-pegged collars. Forms good group with
granary and stables with loft over around cobbled courtyard.
