Cottage. Circa 1800. Rendered stone rubble and cob. Slate roof with clay ridge
tiles, gable end stacks and axial stack, all of brick, right-side rendered. 2
heated rooms and central staircase plan with additional heated room at right end.
Continuous slated integral outshut to rear. 2 storeys. 3-window range, regular
fenestration of C19 2-light casements, 6 panes per light. Doorway with C19 4-
panelled door between 2 left hand bays, with shaped brackets, supporting timber
canopy with corrugated iron roof. Chamfered beam to room to right of entrance
hall, with cambered brick fireplace lintel and bread oven. Internal C19 joinery
largely intact including integral cupboards to room to left end flanking
fireplace with Victorian register grate.
