GROVE HILL 1. 5016 Harrow-on-the-Hill TQ 1587 NW The Haven 13/100 II Detached house 1894. A Mitchell red brick, some roughcast; pitched tiled roof. Irregular composition 2 storeys; two main bays. Central segmental headed entrance with recessed panelled door. Canted ground floor bay to right, low set circular window to left. To upper floor large timber mullioned windows with Ipswich motifs inset. Sashes and casements; leaded panes. Two roughcast gables, rich cornice. Rear elevation also of interest. Interior with barrel vaulted inglenook, seated alcove, fireplaces etc.
