Offices and shops. Dated 1910, altered late C20. Ashlar and
red brick, with ashlar dressings and stone slate mansard roof.
Free Baroque style. Rusticated ground floor, ground floor
cornice, modillion main cornice. 3 storeys plus attics; 3
window range. Central 12-pane sash with moulded surround. On
each side, a large shallow oriel window, each with a
round-arched glazing bar casement in a rusticated surround
with hood, flanked by sidelights. Above, 5 imitation 12-pane
sashes. Attics have five 9-pane sashes. Ground floor has a
wide central opening with Ionic columns and a recessed
segment-headed doorway to a passage. On each side, a single
plate glass shop window.
