Coach house and stable 10m west of
Newlands farmhouse

GV II

Coach house and stable. Late C18. Coursed squared stone with
ashlar dressings and slate roof. Coped gables with kneelers.
2 storeys; 2 bays. Windows have stone lintels. Coach house, to
left, has a reglazed square window. Below, 2 carriage openings
with wooden lintel, central square stone pier, and to right, a
pair of board doors. Left gable has a reglazed square window.
Set back stable, to right, has a small 4-pane casement,
flanked to left by a board door with stone surround, stone
landing, and cantilevered stone stair. Below, to right, a
doorway with stone surround. INTERIOR not inspected.
