Shops and dwellings. C17 or earlier, with later alterations.
Timber-frame and plaster; plain tile roof.
2 storeys, attic and cellar; 2-window range: C19 2/2 sashes in
moulded cases, under shallow moulded bressumer; two C17
gable-dormers, restored to left. C19 double shop front with
central entrances: to right, C20 half-glazed door and plain
overlight, and C20 window; to left, half-glazed panelled door
and overlight, and window with slender glazing bars and
chamfered shafts; plaster coving to hood with slate
pentice-roof. Right returned side: deep jetty with exposed
dragon-beam and soffits, underbuilt C18(?); exposed wattle and
plaster in large panels; lath and plaster-blocked opening with
chamfered ogee-head. Rear: brick infill, tumbled-in to gable;
two C19 casements and various fixed lights; timber-frame and
plaster outshut under plain tile roof, to No.22.
