Chapel, dedication to St Nicholas. 1911. Snecked rubble with limestone dressings, plain tiled roofs. West porch, chapel, north and south transepts, antechapel. Single storey porch has double doors with keystone and upper segmental head, Pilasters to side surmounted by carved angel left and right, single light to each side in chamfered surround; plinth, lintel string course, parapet and coping. Chapel has 5 light west window with round heads, 2 transoms, set in recess with moulded segmental arch over, pilasters to each side, single louvred opening above set in recess, bellcote and cross finial at gable end; 5 bays north and south, each with tall single light with depressed 4-centred arched head, chamfered surround and hood mould; plinth, cill string and weathered buttresses. North and south transepts have gable end with raised coped verges, similar 5-light segmental-headed window with one transom and hood mould, single storey porch attached to west with door and 2-light window, cill string continued over heads on porch; north transept has further single storey north block with similar 3-light window and door, string course continued, parapet and coping. Antechapel of one bay, similar 5-light east window as on transepts, string course continued and raised to cill level, lancet above in gable end and limestone flush band course, foundation stone below and weathered angle buttresses. Interior: not accessible at time of survey (March 1985), former list description: nave and choir roof of arched collar beam trusses with curved ogee braces to kind post. 2 wide segmental arches opening off choir to shallow bay, one containing organ; similar arch to sanctuary bay, stone panelled.
