including pair of stone gate piers)

GV II

Pair of terraced houses, now offices, with gate piers and
boundary wall. 1834-39, altered C20. Red brick, slate roof. 3
storeys and basement. Each house is 2 windows wide with
entrance on left. Panelled and half-glazed doors with fanlight
in stone architrave with keystone. Fenestration: flat brick
arches, stone sills, restored sashes with glazing bars. Stacks
straddle ridge to right of each house.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: gate piers of stone, approx 2m high,
square section, corniced, with shallow pyramidal capstones.
Walls flanking gate piers and on northern side of forecourt
linking to No.14: brick, stone copings, approx 1m high.
