GV II

House, now offices, gate piers and boundary walls. 1834-39,
converted C20. Red brick, slate roof, stone details.
2 storeys and basement, symmetrical 5-window facade. Central
doorway of stone with fluted columns and supporting
entablature with pediment, rectangular fanlight. Windows have
plate-glass sashes, flat brick arches and stone sills; stone
bands at ground and first-floor levels.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: gate piers of stone, square section,
tapering, pedimented capstone, raised laurel wreath motifs.
Walls flanking gate piers and on northern side of the
forecourt: brick, stone roll-moulded copings, approx 1m high.
