metres south of Mount St Joseph's
College

Professor's residence for the Wesleyan College, now premises
of the Mount St Joseph's College. 1867-68. Probably by Wilson
and Wilcox of Bath. Coursed squared rock-faced stone, ashlar
details, slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays, the left bay gabled
and slightly projecting. Central door in single-storey glazed
lean-to verandah, canted bay window left. Paired and single
4-pane sashes. Stone gutter brackets, gable coping, tile ridge
cresting; tall stack left. Left return: gablet roof, gabled
roof and pitched service bay roof, fenestration as front. One
of a pair of professors' houses referred to in the 1872
Directory.
