House and pump. Early C19 with later C19 additions. Ashlar on
main facades, coursed squared gritstone to rear and later
walling, slate hipped roof; cast-iron and wooden pump.
2 storeys, 2:1:1 first-floor windows with a bay set back on
left and right. Off-centre single-storey porch with Doric
pillars in antis and narrow side windows; shallow square bay
window of 3 lights left; plain lintel to former sash window
right, similar windows with canopied plate-glass sashes and
sill band to first floor. Recessed bay has a 16-pane sash to
first floor. Moulded eaves cornice and shallow blocking
course; large corniced stacks to rear of ridge, left and
right. Right return: a bay window similar to that on front,
centre, plain sashes, later alterations to right.
Rear: on the right the probably original 3-storey, 3-bay wing
with 4-pane sashes in stone surrounds, pump in wooden casing
centre; an infill block centre and left with recessed double
doors below a fluted projecting 4-light curved bay window;
2-storey canted bay window left; window altered to fire escape
far left.
