Boundary wall with 3 pairs of gate piers and gates. Probably
late C18, altered c1902. Coursed squared gritstone walling,
overall length approx 175m, approx 2m high, with rounded
coping, wrought-iron and board gates. Main gates to Carr Manor
House (qv) have curved flanking walls of snecked ashlar and
rusticated piers with moulding below entablature and cornice,
scrolled wrought-iron gates with date '1902'; C18 gateway
left, to former estate service buildings: ashlar, square and
corniced; plain gateway right leading to former gardens,
square piers, pyramid capstones, board gates.
