Gateway. Early C19. Ashlar, coursed stone and wrought-iron.
Approx 10m wide, stone wall with heavy moulding to ashlar
coping steps down below railings with spearhead finials.
Thickened standards form gate piers, double gates have bars
and dog bars with spearhead finials.
The old churchyard of Chapel Allerton is at the historic core
of the village and contains important graves.
