metres south of Church of St Mark

GV II

Memorial to Joseph Iredale. c1847. Ashlar. Rectangular plinth
approx 1.5m high, inscriptions on recessed moulded panels,
deep cornice surmounted by square urn. Inscription on N side:
'SACRED/ TO THE MEMORY OF/ JOSEPH IREDALE MASON/ DIED JANUARY
20TH 1847/ AGED 49 YEARS/ ALSO HANNAH/ WIFE OF THE ABOVE/ DIED
JULY 22ND 1857/ AGED 57 YEARS'.
