Front wall and gate piers to Armley
Cemetery

GV II

Cemetery wall and gate piers. 1886, altered C20. Ashlar,
coursed gritstone, iron gates. Inner and outer gate piers:
square section, approx 2.5m high, chamfered plinth and shaft,
cornice brackets, stepped pyramid capstones with small
trefoil-panelled finials. Similar piers at intervals along the
wall length. Walling approx 100m long overall, chamfered
coping, railings missing.
