SE23NE BECKETT PARK, Beckett Park
714-1/6/523 Two sets of inner and outer gate
piers at west end of St Chad's Drive

GV II

Inner and outer gate piers. Probably c1835 for the Beckett
family. Gritstone ashlar. Square in section, the inner pair
approx 4m high, the outer pairs 3m. Moulded plinth, rusticated
shaft, entablature with roundels, cornice, banded ball finial.
Possibly re-positioned, identical to one of the piers outside
the No.151 Otley Road (qv).
