Railings with 3 sets of gate piers and gates. 1878. Brick,
stone and wrought-iron. Extending across the front of Armley
Primary School, low brick wall with stone coping,
square-section rails, scrolled panels flank standards,
scrolled and gadrooned ball finials. Piers: plinth with banded
solid stone shafts approx 2m high, the central pair retain
separate moulded corniced capstones. Gates: single leaf to
centre and right, one only remains of paired gates to left;
scroll decoration above lock and hinge bars. Included for
group value.
