The Georgian well in the back yard of 34 Market Hill, Maldon was emptied & cleaned out in Nov. 2011. Photo 2 of 6: Looking down the well at chalk filled bottom with non-cemented brick lining on circular wooden frame & view of perforated lead outlet pipe.
