Pair of cottages, now one dwelling. Early C19. Timber-framed
and rendered with half hipped, plain tile gambrel roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic and cellar; 2-window range;
separate parallel range to rear. Front has low parapet and two
9-pane sash windows on 1st floor. Ground floor has central
doorcase with flat moulded hood and moulded architrave; door
of 2 ornamental moulded panels. Either side are 12-pane sash
windows.
The south-east return elevation has one 12-pane sash window on
1st floor of rear range and one C20 plain window to attic. The
north-west return elevation has C20 attic window, and one
12-pane sash window to ground floor and a cellar access.
The rear range is 2-storied with a gabled concrete patent tile
roof and 2 sash windows with margin glazing on 1st floor. The
ground floor has a canted flat-roofed bay window with margin
glazing and a C20 two-light casement. 2 large stacks on rear
wall of main block. Small lean-to roofed extension with C20
concrete patent tiles on north-west end.
