House, subdivided into 2 dwellings. C17, altered and extended
C18-C20. Timber-framed, rendered and partially weatherboarded;
red brick extension; tiled roofs except slate to lean-to
extension. Original 2-bay central lobby-entry plan, now
divided across centre, with 2 adjoining parallel cross-wings
to rear and c1900 rear extension to No.9.
EXTERIOR: originally 1 storey and attic, front raised to 2
full storeys under hipped roof in C18; 2-window range.
No.7 has C20 6-panel door in uPVC surround beneath C18 open
pediment; one 2-pane C20 sash to each floor; small 2-pane sash
to lean-to extension to left.
No.9 has 4-panel door in open-pedimented doorcase; one sash to
each floor with margin glazing and moulded architrave and
sill. Render is lined out. Side wall weatherboarded to about
2m. Rear wing has half-hipped roof, one leaded-light iron
casement to 1st floor. Margin glazed sashes to c1900
two-storey extension.
INTERIOR: chamfered spine beam. Original stair to rear of
stack.
