Pair of houses. c.1835. Stucco with slate roof. 3
storeys, 4 bays, the central 2 bays projecting under open
pediment with stone projectng ground floor. Sill bands and
bracketed eaves; quoins. Windows are sashed with glazing
bars. Ground floor windows have architraves, pulvinated
friezes and cornices; central projection has round-headed
window and entrance. 1st floor windows have consoled
pediments, those to central bays segmental, those to outer
bays flanked by bull's eyes with archivolts and keys. 2nd
floor central windows have consoled pediments. Entrance to
4th bay has timber porch. Terraces with pierced balustrades
to outer bays. Deep central stack with 20 ornamental pots.
Returns have lateral stacks and small extensions. Rear
similar, rusticated basement with loggia and balustrade, 3-
storey rectangular bay windows to outer bays.
