C18. 2 storey and attic. Rendered with incised lines. Projecting plinth. Carried up to parapet with stone coping. Old tile roof. 3 2-light dormer casements, left hand end one is leaded. Projecting bay to right hand of centre with one 3-light window on 1st floor and 6 panel door under, upper panels glazed, arched fanlight of curved pattern with hexagonal lamp.
Plain C19 door surround of panel pilasters, arched head with spandrels panels, and cornice. Remainder of front has 7 windows on 1st floor and 6 on ground floor. (2 bays to right hand of projecting entrance bay). Stable entry to left hand corner and small arched services entry adjoingin with wrought iron grille of radiating and scroll pattern. All windows have stucco architraves and are 3 panes wide.

Nos 18, 37, 43, 45 and all the listed buildings on the couth-east side from Nos 19 to 46 (consec) (including wrought iron screen before Vernon House), form a group.
