II
Composite building of several periods. The left section appears to be two late mediaeval houses running into each other at right angles. One storey and attic, two windows. Long hipped tiled roof with ridge gablet at left, gable end of taller part rising above ridge at right. Two modern gabled dormers. Tile hung first floor, brick ground floor, random rubble plinth. Modern casements, three leaded. Long right range, probably of early C17, has visible timber framing, with plaster filling, on lst floor, brick ground floor. Hipped tiled roof with ridge stack. In angle between these, range of C16 appearance projects. Similar wall material. Modern leaded casements. C17 or early C18 back extensions.
Inside, exposed timber, restored inglenook and Queen Anne panelling in hall.
