Detached Farmhouse. Dated 1737. Local lias stone cut and squared, painted stone dressings; double Roman clay tile roof,
between coped gables; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 4 and 2 bays, set at right angles to road. Beaded ashlar
surround mullioned windows of 2-lights, with hood moulds to lower windows; iron framed opening lights plain glazed:
between bays 2 and 3 segmental arched plain gabled porch, having plain boarded door in heavy frame, and above stone
plaque with hoodmould and oval panel inscribed "A/SB/l737". Blocked attic window in west gable, lean-to on north side.
