Dole Stone in Churchyard About 5 Metres North West of North Porch of Church of St Mary

A Grade II Listed Building in Potterne, Wiltshire

Dole Stone

Uploader's Comments

The area around the dole stone is fenced off as trees appear to have undermined some of the monuments as can be seen in the chest tomb behind. The sides of the dole stone are very eroded, although the cross on the west end and at least one of the shields can still be made out on the south side. I was unable to see the north side of the dole stone.
