Leadbetter Monument

Grave cross. 1841. By the John Walker Foundry for the
Leadbetter family grave. Cast-iron cross on stone pedestal.
Octagonal pedestal with moulded base and capping supports
cross with tapered octagonal shaft and boss-like terminals to
the arms: centre pierced by open quatrefoil. The cross is one
of the earliest monuments in the cemetery and is shown on an
isometric plan of 1843.
