Houses. 1935, to the designs of G. G. Winbourne. Brick with painted render. Flat roofs. Crittall windows. Two storeys with roof-top structures and glazed stair tower. Three-window range to each. International Modern style. Elevation of each identical: recessed entrance range with balconies to first floor and roof terrace; curved quadrants to projecting side ranges; metal strip windows to curves and first-floor French doors. Garages to left-hand ranges of Nos. 1 and 3, and to right-hand ranges Nos. 5 and 7. Glazed stair tower to No.1 visible on left return. On centre line of the group a camber-headed 'twitten' passage of the kind found on early C20 blocks by Parker and Unwin in the artisans' quarter of the original Suburb. Doors of original design with metal grille formed of French curves to Nos. 5 and 7. Nos. 1-13 (odd} and 2-18 (even} form an excellent and noteworthy group of Modern movement houses which have retained their original features and integrity.
