House. c1820. Flemish bond brick with brick lateral stacks and
hipped tiled roof.
PLAN: single-depth with rear 2-storey extension added 1994.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and basement; 2-window range.
Double-fronted with a timber trellis porch with pointed
archway and raking roof, to a door with 6 flush panels. Rubbed
brick cambered heads to 12/12-pane sashes, with a blind window
over the door; basement windows with small panes. Late C19
rear sashes.
INTERIOR: not inspected but reported to be unaltered, with a
central stair, C19 fireplaces and cupboards, basement with
brick cellar and storage bays. Listed as an example of a
polite small rural house in original condition.
