C18 2 storey, two window bays and sentral doorway. Brick front on base of ironstone rubble, low irregular plinth of stone. Tile gabled roof with birck stack at right hand end; traces of timber-framing in right hand gable end. Two-light casement windows with small panes, upper ones smaller and with much smaller panes; lower ones segmental headed. segmenta; headed doorway; frame; ledged door.

All the listed buildings on 'the North west Side from The Bear and Ragged Staff Inn to No.70 [with Nos. 52 to 58 (even)] form a group.
