Horse trough. Probably late C19. Local volcanic stone arch, granite trough.
The trough is recessed under a chamfered 4-centred stone arch of dressed stone in a
section of stone rubble walling. Canted corners to the trough. The trough is
supplied by a water reservoir in Dark Lane.
