Cottage. C16 with C17 additions and C19 additions to north. Timber framed on sand-
stone plinth with brick infill under scalloped tile hanging above to street front.
Sandstone rubble to ground floor on south side, brick extensions to north; all under
plain tiled roofs. Two storeys. Gable to right on street front with gabled dormer
to left. One casement window to each gable and two windows on ground floor. Right
hand return front (to south) - Central offset stack to rear. Gable to right, dormer
to left with roof dropping down and continuing as a hip over central porch with part
glazed door in flanking windows. One 3-light window to ends and ground floor.
School extension to north of no special interest. Interior:- Stop chamfered spine
beams and ceiling joists. Deep brick fireplace with oven. Old rear wall now pre-
served internally.
