Pair of cottages. Mid to later C18. Coursed squared sandstone, with quoins
to left end, slate roof. Double depth 2-unit plan. Two low storeys, and 2
bays, symmetrical; doorways at right and left ends respectively, with raised
plain surrounds and between these; two 3-light windows on each floor with
sightly-recessed flat-faced mullions and raised plain surrounds; small square
window inserted at 1st floor above door of No. 5 (left). Ridge chimney.
Included as good example of type and period.
