Sharlston Hall.
GV II
Dovecote. Probably C17. Coursed squared sandstone blocks, with quoins;
stone slate roof. Square single-cell plan. Single storey; a drip-band
carried round the whole; on the north side, a doorway offset to left, with
plain surround, and a recessed rectangular panel over the lintel; in the
centre of each side at the upper level, a small vertical rectangular opening.
Pyramidal roof.
Interior: lined with tiers of nest holes.
