St Bridget's Church, Brean, Somerset

Uploader's Comments

Although there has been a Church here since the 6th-century, the current building wasn't erected until the 13th. It was built with a much higher tower but having been struck by lightning in 1729, it was shortened and fitted with its current roof. After many years of neglect, the body of the Church was heavily restored in 1890.
