Formerly National Girl's School.
High Victorian Gothic front of 2 storeys red brick with rendered coping to
parapet. lst floor has 3 large pointed arched windows of 2 lights, dividing
rendered columns with foliate capitals. Tympana each have 2 circular lights
either side of rose. Stepped sills, rendered moulding to arches doubled by
gauged brickwork. Window bays are divided by broad brick pilaster strips
with acanthus band carried across on level of window heads. Band between
storeys. Ground floor 3 bay arcade. Gauged brick elliptical arches with
rendered drip moulds on brick piers with rendered caps. Early C20 shop front
set back.

Nos 1 to l6 (consec) form a group.
