Church of St Hilda

A Grade I Listed Building in Headland, Hartlepool

St. Hilda's Church/3

Uploader's Comments

Another view of St Hilda's Church in old Hartlepool. This photograph, taken from the south, shows a Celtic Cross at the front which was carved by local stonemason Carl Paylor. Sadly it was demolished twice within two weeks by vandals in March, 2008. The cross is now laid on the ground to the left of the church on a grass verge.
