Stone shaft. Date and purpose unknown, but perhaps base of late medieval
cross shaft, or alternatively the pedestal of a sundial, C18. Magnesian
limestone. Two-step plinth of interlocking flagstones, and heavily-weathered
shaft approx. one metre high, formerly octagonal, but now heavily weathered.
