--8-- Very tall, to: John Woolley d. 4th Aug 1807 aet 69. -Severe Afflictions did my life attend/ With patience I did bear it to the end/ Having to rest within this bed of clay/ Until the glorious resurrection day/ Then rise in hope to mingle with the blest/ And share with them the great eternal rest-. Signed Winfield. The Severe Afflictions poem was often associated with cancer victims. (Photo Feb 2014).
