Pair of estate cottages, now houses. Dated 1849, with mid and
late C20 alterations. Brick with pantile roof and large
central ridge stack with coped triple flues, the outer ones
set diagonally. First floor band. 2 storeys; 2 window range.
Front ground floor windows are larger. 5, to left, has a
glazing bar casement on each floor, and a porch to the left
return, all C20. 6 has a 2-light casement with diamond panes,
and below, a wooden framed 3-light casement. Right return has
central board door flanked by single windows, the left one
blank.
Estate cottages provided for workers on the Belton estate by
the Brownlow family of Belton House.
