South west aspect. Narrow courses of stone in the Norman lower stages of the tower. Clasping buttresses to first stage. A deep frieze with an ornamental band, crenellated parapet with gargoyles and corner pinnacles forms the Perpendicular Gothic top stage. (Photo Apr 2008).
