Royal Arms of King George IV dated 1826 and signed Thomas Whitehead and Thomas West, Churchwardens. On the shield the quarters are 1 and 4, three gold lions passant guardant for England (with Wales); 2 A Red lion rampant of Scotland; and 3, A Harp of Ireland. The centre shield (inescutcheon) shows The two lions passant guardant of Brunswick, The blue lion of Luneburg and the running white horse of Westphalia. These represent Hanover, but it is shown as a Duchy as the electors bonnet is atop the shield, not a crown.
