1732 (datestone) (some rebuilding). Detached house. Hammer dressed stone.
Pitched stone slate roof. Coped gable to west. former ashlar stack with water
tabling to east gable. Two storeys. South elevation: Ground floor: entrance to
deep lintel, quoins and chamfered reveals; two 4-light stone mullioned windows
(double chamfered) (each with 1 mullion removed); one 2-light stone mullioned
window as above (mullion removed); one later single left. First floor: two
4-light and one 2-light stone mullioned windows (double chamfered) (each with 1
mullion removed); one later single light. East gable: Ground floor: entrance
with deep lintel and quoins. Lintel has inscription:

The initials refer to names George Shaw and Gertrude Shaw. Next to doorway is
former 'fire window' with semicircular false arch in deep lintel. North eleva-
tion: one 2-light stone mullioned window (chamfered); one later single light.
